Between blotch and blok

Yesterday, the house was blissfully empty--(drat, I want an em dash!) Looby Loo at nursery, cats having dental treatment at Veterinarian--and today it's still quiet--Looby Loo at nursery, cats sleeping off yesterday's anaesthesia. So I'm again getting some sewing--and far more unpicking and resewing (if anyone's seen my brain, which I obviously lost from my back pack sometime last weekend, could they please return it pronto?!)--done. Actually, the inability to either sew, or use a keyboard for very long, is probably due to the arthritis flare up and not quite managing to balance the drugs correctly.
Tomorrow, in a vague attempt at being a good parent (ha!), I'm off to the zoo with Looby Loo and her nursery. Can I finish my new skirt, in camouflage print, in time and disappear into the undergrowth. At least, there are plenty of owls, raptors and big cats to look forward to.
